Methods To Get Overnight Heatless Curls

Press release: 09 September, 2021: Curls have withstood the tests of time. Hairstyle trends come and go, but curls continue to be used to transform hairstyles from normal to elegant, fun, and amusing. They can be used to create a softer look and are a great way to wear your hair with a pin in a bob or a down.

If you're like me then you are aware of how stressful it can be to curl your hair every morning using a curler, or straightener. It consumes a lot of time, causes damage to hair, and may cause painful burns. It can be a challenge to create beautiful curls in the morning, or prior to a night out but then having to use a ton of hairspray to make them hold.  Look at here to find out extra resources on hair curls.

The best solution is simple and simple: overnight heatless curls!

The benefits of heatless curls

Many people think that heatless curls won't give the same results as hot curlers and curling irons. While they may take longer to get the same effect however, they're safer and more ready for use when you wake up in the early morning. They are great for daily use, but not for weddings or a formal party. They're the perfect way to appear stunning when at work or school.

You can do them at night and are ready to go in the morning. Really, who doesn't want hair ready right from your bed? Get rid of the morning rush and have just one thing off your plate.

They require no water and are totally suitable for hair. They don't burn or harm hair, and yet provide amazing results.

There's so many options! You can alter the thickness of any method you are using, and create rings, tight curls or large, bouncy curls or beachy waves. It is completely up to you!

Paper Towel Curls

These are among my all-time favorites! They're super simple, and they work equally well on thick or thin hair. These curls are great for hair with thicker layers. The curls made of paper towels tend to be tighter and may be pinched or swept up in buns.

Cut the paper towel sheets into two pieces, then cut as many as you'll need.

Do not soak, but dampen your hair. Separate 3 to 4" section of hair.

The damp hair should be rolled up onto the towel beginning at the bottom of the hairpiece, until you get to the scalp.

The ends of the paper towel need to be connected. If needed you want to secure the hair ring to your scalp.

Repeat this process all throughout your head.

Tie a scarf around your head prior to going to sleep to reduce frizz.

Doze off for the night.

Make sure you get up early in the morning to open and let go of your curls.

Move your fingers through to separate them and style them however you'd like.

Now you have a head full beautiful curls! In my personal experience, these curls and sock curly curls turn out to be the most beautiful. They're worth the effort and are my go-to method for heatless curls. They will not disappoint!

Sock Curls

Sock curls are the most comfy way to sleep. They're also easy and quick. These are paper towel curls made with socks. These or paper towel curls should be your first attempt, as they offer the most effective results.

Don't dry your hair.

Cover 2-3 inches of hair in a sock, but not an ankle-length socks. It's up to you the method you wrap the hair for the shape of your curl. You can wrap your hair in a spiral downwards to create longer curls. (See the video). Roll upwards to get more natural-looking curls.

The ends of the sock tightly.

Wrap a scarf around your head to lessen frizz, and sleep overnight.

Untie the socks and gently undo the curls.

Separate curls by using your fingers.

You have the option of letting your hair down or placing it in a ponytail. The spirals look more attractive when they are done with curls from sock. They will look stunning, no matter what.

Curls of the Headband

Curls with a headband are soft in appearance and are closer to the type of curls you would expect from straighteners and curlers. They're loose, spirally curls that are great for picnics or a special day at school or work. They work best for hair that is thin or fine than thicker hair. They look fantastic even though they're curlier than they are curly.

Take a headband, or a bandana that has been folded into two pieces, and wrap it around your head. Tie a scarf around your head. It's much simpler to take them off by taking them off at the beginning of the day.

Do not soak, but dampen your hair.

Start at the front and wrap a couple of inches of hair around the headband.

Continue to loop until you get to the back, adding the hair that is in the front.

Repeat the process on the opposite side. Finally, place the two pieces hair at the back under the headband.

Overnight sleep

Get the headband off or remove the scarf.

You can run your fingers through the curls and pin them half-up, or simply hold them down.

They create lovely, loose curls perfect for any occasion! It could be worn in an updo style or with a cute headband during the day or evening, and then have beautiful curls the next morning. It's the perfect two-in-one!
